The Anzia Fund, is proud to announce the first annual, unrestricted grant for young dance artists. The Anzia Fund was created in memory of the late teacher, choreographer, arts advocate and Artistic Director, Anzia Arsenault whose former students continue her teaching and nurturing tradition across the nation and the world.

GRANT AMOUNT
$500.00
 
The funds are totally unrestricted and may be used for any sort of project including production, education, and travel or to purchase equipment.

ELIGIBILITY
Applications are open to young dancers and / or choreographers of any dance discipline age 13 – 19 at the time of application and currently residing in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco or Polk Counties.

GRANT PERIOD ELIGIBILITY
Project must occur between June 1, 2015 and May 31, 2016

APPLICATION DEADLINE 
Applications will be accepted through April 1, 2015

HOW TO APPLY
Applicants should submit: 

* A title page including the applicants name, address, email, phone, and birthdate. 
* A maximum 400-word narrative explaining how the funds will be used and the effect of the grant on your work as a dance artist. 
* A short outline budget showing how the funds will be used as well as other expenses involved.
*Letters of recommendation (3 max) and any documentation of acceptance and / or scholarship into any program that is a part of this project.
* A brief current resume that preferably includes links to video and / or still photos on line.

A panel of a minimum of five judges including many former students and associates will review the applications.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The grant recipient will be announced no later than May 1, 2015.
Within 30 days of the end of the grant period, 
the artist should submit a brief impact statement, not to exceed one page.
